I would give 3.5 stars if I could, but not an option yet on Yelp. They don't deserve just 3 stars, so I am rounding up to 4. Came here later one evening to try the new location out. We ordered thin and hand tossed pizzas. We also got an app plater. The plater was a bit overcooked, but they had decent ranch dressing to hide some of that. The salad was good, but on the smaller side for the price. The pizza was on the pricier end for the size, but overall the pizza had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The server was friendly and accommodating. We came in later, and had a larger group, and we were not rushed out the door at all. It's not Salerno's, but its also almost 1/2 the price of their pizza. I also love how involved in the community they are. I would love if they would make some outdoor space though for the warmer months.

New location on Randall rd. I had never been to Pal Joeys before but heard it was good. Well I had a strange feeling walking into this huge and coldly decorated space, wanted to leave but sat down anyways . Very sterile and not a cozy space. Lunchroom like the way the tables were arranged.
Made the mistake of not ordering pizza because we had pizza the night before . Ordered salad and a club sandwich. So horrible including the cole slaw which seemed like it had sat out and was sour. Bread was stale and mayonnaise tasted bad too.
Salad laden with too much dressing. Whole experience was so below average. Won't be going back. -

Terrible food. Should have known when it was empty. My pasta had zero flavor. I asked the waitress to bring me sauce to make it taste better then she turns around and charged me for it (a aide of sauce to make their nasty pasta better) Won't be back.

Sure miss the old downtown Pal Joey's location! Sitting along the river on a warm summer day, the historic limestone and brick interior walls and dark wood work.
Now enter the new location at Main & Randall. At first we thought we entered a Nursing Home, plain almost depressing interior...so bad we walked out! How in gods name can you purchase a previous restaurant, slap a coat of paint on the walls and open your doors? No thought to interior design, just get the business open ASAP! You certainly can afford some faux limestone or brick to enhance the drab interior.
Isn't part of going out to dine the establishment itself, not only the food? You sure failed PJ's in this endeavor!!!
So now when we want our PJ's fix, it's strictly carry-out and try not to glance around the insides as I'm ashamed of what they "haven't done". -

First time here and our food was pretty good until I got to the end of my beef brisket. Tender in the beginning but tougher towards the end. For the most part the meal was enjoyable.
